GATESVILLE METAL SHAPING GATHERING NOVEMBER 13th 2010
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF LOCATION!
There will be an informal Gathering of those that are interested in metal shaping in Gatesville Texas on November 13th 2010.
Our host will be Clint Egger and held at his shop in Gatesville. The address is 3045 FM107.
For more information you may contact Gordon (Don) Bartlett at: stingshp@taylortel.net
Since the Gathering itself is free, we suggest contributing $20 each to offset Clint’s expenses for lunch, drinks, donuts/munchies, Ox/Act. Gasses, electricity, etc.
Besides your “small project”, please remember to bring your safety gear for hearing, eyes and hands, etc.
Remember! This Gathering is for learning metal shaping and having fun!

Wish that was closer... I need to find something like that around here. It's fascinating to me what can be done.

I attended my first one last Oct and thoroughly enjoyed the activities and getting to work on others projects and my own ones. A real good bunch of guys and one lady. I stayed at my daughters and drove in about 3-4 days. Will do it again. BobP

Hi Guys,
Yes they are a lot of fun while learning a craft. One thing for sure, if you get involved with all of it during the day you go home "One tired puppy!" but with a smile on your face.
Peace,
Chaz

We did it again! Our metal shaping gathering at Clint Egger's shop had 18 attendees. Their experience levels ranged anywhere from Rolls Royce restorations to complete newbies that had never worked a piece of sheet metal. We had projects for them to work on that were small enough so that at the end of the day they could go home with something tangible they had accomplished. Some nice bowls and teardrop blisters came out of the group. Other projects worked on were repairs to my '51 Hudson hood (rounding the corners), a new motorcycle tank, an aluminum spinner from an aircraft, an aircraft wheel pant and the rear quarter panel of a '32 Chevrolet coupe. Quite a varied assortment of projects!
