-
We took "Best of Show" today at our local car show here in New Mexico! I couldn't believe all the attention our 52 Hudson Hornet Hollywood brought! Hudson!!!

Congrats on your car's award. Very sharp Hudson.
Today my '37 Hudson Eight was chosen for Best of Show at a local show.
The five judges could not take their eyes off the Hudson.
They also awarded my wife's Studebaker Third place.
Taking the HMC cars to local shows is important to attract new members to
the marque and the HET club. -
That is great! Congrats!
-
Very cool! Great looking car too. Congrats on your award and sharing Hudson with the rest of them.
-
Congratulations to all who have the courage to take your beautiful Hudsons out among the great un-informed. It is sad that all to many Hudson owners feel obliged to hide their cars in their garages.
That is one beautiful Hollywood - and you can well be proud of it.
I notice, tho, that it appears, more and more, that our younger club members are the ones getting their Hudsons out for the population to see and enjoy.
A tip of Aunt Hester's bonnet to all of you.
Hudsonly,
Alex Burr

I like Alex' reference to the "great un-informed." When we parked our 54 Hudson Hollywood at a local restaurant a few weeks ago a number of people came out to admire the :woohoo: "Mercury!"

Congrats to you. Your 52 is a great looking car and well represents a "Best of Show" car. It is great to see the smiles on your face and the face of your companion. Great photo and a great memory. This is just one of the many rewards of owning a Hudson. Thanks for sharing with us and it is good to see folks like you out enjoying the car hobby. I expect that this is the first of many awards you will get for this great looking car.Brownie

Bill:
That's an understandable mistake. My BIL Pete has a '51 Merc convert and being an inveterate practical joker, stuck a BMW badge on the front of it. You wouldn't believe how many people walk by it and say "I didn't know BMW made a car like that." -
Joseph, Our local Chapter is very proud. And the 52 will be a big hit next month at the local Mopar-Hudson car show so,het ready for them we will steal the Show this year, thanks to you and locals.

Thanks everyone!

well done, its striking in the red and looks so crisp, as well just enough chrome to make everyone remember what it was like to have how proper cars were finished

They had to chop the Mercs to make them look as good as a standard Hudson though.
It's great to see your son( I assume?) enjoying the moment too. Congratulations on your award and awsome Hudson. -
You have a beautiful car. The award is deserved.
