Got mine also. Almost done reading it already.
-
I always quick scan for the pickups first, then read the classifieds, then the rest. have not got mine (pony express is slow), now I can't wait knowing there is a full color shot of a 36 pickup! 46HudsonPU thanks for the tease!
-
Thanks for the info. Was wandering if it had been lost. Will run at the post office on monday for sure! Quite sure it won't be there cause of the distance but I'll let you know when it arrives, just for fun!
-
One of the best covers yet. Thirteen cars (or parts of cars) made it on the cover this month. The reading and enjoyment just got better as I turned the pages while sitting in the shop between two of my Hudsons..... Now, where did I put that diet coke.....???Brownie

Walked two miles this morning, drove 50 miles to soccer meet, 10 more mi to eat, drop wife at mall, drove 25 min to a metal meet(2.5 hr) pick up wife, drove home to attend wedding (lasted 2 hrs), drove 5 mi to a cruise in. When I returned home I found my latest WTN and after checking hurridely. It is only 9:40PM. Need to check to make sure I dont have to go anywhere else tonite. Good nite. Bob

WTN waiting with the mail when we got back from the All California Meet.
Congratulation Walt and Margaret Mordenti for winning the Daugherty Award!!! Well deserved!!!
It was great to not only to see Walt and Margaret at All California Meet but also Bill Odle was there with his 2010 Albright Award winning 1935 Hudson Eight convertible (WTN page 48). I took alot of pictures of it not knowing at the time it had won the award. It is a spectacular looking car. Almost needed sun glasses to look at chrome.
Thanks for another great WTN. Lee -
Still waiting... I think the people in the Post Office spend a week reading it before they pass it on to me.
John -
Don't worry, John, it's worth the wait. Had to wait till Monday, but it's done read all ready!

Take heart - we're getting more and more computer guru's in the club and into HET affairs. Could be an electronic digitized edition might be made to send right to your email box. I believe each issue is already on a CD, so the next logical step would be an electronic edition. Wouldn't that be a hoot!!!

Love that idea but I would still want a paper copy - call me old fashioned but the paper copy satisfies much more!! But the combination is the best

Just got it today ( tuesday) in Quebec, Canada. The wait was worth it! And I prefer a paper copy too, don't have a computer in my library ( the restroom)!
-
GREAT EDITION !! KOUDO"S to Geoff and Walt for 2 really great articles !! BUD

Still Waiting
Could it be that it was sent out by the Pony Express? There is an old Pony Express stop nearby in Olathe, Kansas... I think I'll check there today.

I haven't gotten mine yet and, as of Saturday, my father in Ohio hadn't gotten his either.
I don't think the Pony Express ran through Florida or Ohio so if that's the new delivery method, we're both out of luck.Chris Reinman

All copies were mailed on the 15th. Many 1st Class subscribers rec'd theirs on the 17th. Regular mail seems to be taking between 2-3 weeks, depending on the location. T'was ever thus.HETfortyqtpi@earthlink.net (drop the HET)

Wouldn't work out very well for me- my computer is not in the bathroom!
Have had my issue for awhile now- I always seem to get it within a day or so of the first to post on here- Seems like it would take longer, given the distance. But I'm not complainin'. -

Thanks Sam,
I just checked my records... I'm regular mail. I'll just sit, relax, and wait.

Why can't the new issue's be published on line at the club site as soon as it's ready? Why can't the classified adds be added on line as soon as they come in to be published in the next issue ? Does the club make extra money from the "first class" subscribers?
Just wondering, as in this day and age most of my information is gleaned from the net anyway. -
Got my WTN in the mail today. My girls were pretty impressed that "mom is in a magazine!"Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet!
-
Mike Cherry and I were up visiting Glen Johnson (he is doing quite well since his recent heart attack)yesterday and we were looking at Glen's copy of the WTN. I was giving Mike a bit of flack about his car being on the cover just under the sign. He mentioned that it was not as bad as me being in the photo sitting under the sign. It blew me away.... What are the percentages of all the photo's taken at the Nat's that they would catch me in the WTN cover shot. I guess I need to frame that cover and place it in the shop just to remind me of what my dad used to tell me: "Fools names and fools faces always appear in public places."Brownie
-
Got mine last week sometime, but there was a last issue notice with it. Had the last issue notice with the last issue also and sent a check in to renew, now I just have to find the cancled check! Oh well...

Received mine on the 30th. Mailed out on the 15th, so a 14 day wait. Still don't understand why the classified is not put on line the day of the mailing.
-
what is the WTN? I am in the club but never received this

The White Triangle News (WTN) is the clubs bi-monthly magazine.
Contact the Editor Sam Jackson, fortyqtpi@earthlink.net and he will see that you receive your copy.
Have a good day. Lee O'Dell -
My grandson received his WTN today. I though I was getting a second copy until I saw his name on the address. Oh welI, guess I'll have to give it to him.

How is it possible that the WTN can get to Australia before it gets to Virginia?
-
Sweet! I received my very first copy today along with the club roster... Happy Hudson Member.
-
Got mine here in New Zealand today. As I pay for Airmail, I assume the US Postal Service is still flying radial engine propeller driven aircraft & slow ones at that!! Or maybe their NZ cousins are the slow folk, anyway it's here & now read cover to cover. Another goodie!!Dave Y
New Zealand -
I received mine and what a GREAT Publication!!!! I have not received a roster like most other new members have received though, I joined via paypal and maybe this may not be the best way to join?
