52 Hornet sedan update

    Finily I came in on the forum from my home computer havent had access for over six mounth from my home computer. Well i have promise you guys that i keep you update of my restaration of my Hudson Hornet Sedan . I bought the car from Jim Harmon Oregon and ship it to Sweden were i live. I done a total restoration so it take little time i had have a break from the car nearly six month but i will start now i try to get it ready to the summer. The color of the car will be red metallic and i have made new Twin -H decals in gold hope you like it .I post some photos so you can watch.

    Man oh man - that is gonna be one sweet ride!!!!! Love the gold paint job on the engine - and the decals look original. Great job there. You can be really proud of that little jewel and of the work you're doing on it.



    Keep up the good work and we will hope you can get on-line more often and keep us updated.

    Yeas Walt you have done the carbs for me they are real nice just wait to the day when i can start the engine.

    Jan, nice car! What has become of the Hudsonklubben? It seems that their website is not active. In the old days I used to talk to Bjarne Skarp on the Hudson Chatroom. It seems you have a very active Hudson group in Sweden!

    The car is looking great! I really like the color you chose, it has a nice pop to it...is that a chrysler color?

    If you havent run the exhaust yet you might want to check this thread out I think split exhaust would really compliment the twin-h

    Thanks Dan and all others for the nice word of my car it makes me feel that i am on the right way whit the car. I have looked at the split exhaust thread before but i am not sure if it fit becuse i have 56 engine in my 52 i think i saw that they not fit right on the 56?. Do you know if i mount a split is that room for dual exhaust pipes?. The color Dan is Volvo

    Jon, Sorry I dont know how the hudson club in Sweden is. I am not a member of the Sweden club but I should join them. When I bought the car I join your wonderfoul HET club. I have got lots of helps of the club members whit parts and advice I have also visit members when we have been in USA on holidays you are all so nice realy like a big family you proberly have the best club in the world.
