55 Hudson Hollywood
-
Seven of my family and cousins meet at the annual 4th of July car show in Filmore, Ca. It was a bright sunny day. The marine layer had just burned off by the time we arrived at the car show. I estimate approx 150-200 cars present and about 50 motorcycles.
There was one Hudson present, owned by Bill Lenox. I didn't have my reading glasses with me to read the information tag clearly, so I hope I spelled Bill's last name correctly. The beautiful Hudson is a 1955, yellow with white top Hudson Hollywood with a continental kit. To motivate this beauty down the highway, the engine bay was filled with a 352 cubic inch 1956 Packard engine with 2 four barrel carburators.
From there we went to my cousins house in Camarillo to gather with more cousins for a nice family get together and chow down on some good food.
We finished off a wonderful day with all of us attending a fireworks show in Camarillo. Then we said our goodbye's and headed back home in Burbank.
Hope you all had a good 4th of July. Lee -
I agree....they are beautiful cars.
