Am I correct in assuming that the only thing 'Hudson' about this car was the small name badge on the front? -
Yep, the badge is it. Most of the "Hashs" were based on the larger Nashs, and had a lot more Hudson badging- like the R on the gas cap would be an H, different wheel covers, Hudson model names (Hornet, Wasp), etc. This looks like the last gasp for the Hudson name at AMC.
