K-Gap still around?
-
Over the last several weeks I have left multiple phone messages and sent emails to K-Gap with no response. Is anyone else having better luck? - Bill
-
I have not had any kind of problem. You might call later in the afternoon/early evening? I got a delivery from them just a few weeks ago.Brownie

Their phone message says business hours are to 4 PM Pacific. I reached them OK recently at about 3 PM Pacific. The phone conversation seemed to confirm they'd not seen my e-mail of a couple weeks earlier or heard my phone message left a few days later. -

I have no problem contacting them. Dany returned my call last week about a question I had. I have bought parts from him for many year and hope to for many more.
Park, you reminded me that e mails do not alway go through. More than half the e mails I send to my brother are never received. But I do not know this, so I wonder why won't he reply to my message.
I have been guilty of writing an email or post, and forget to push SEND key before signing out. Oh well, stuff happens.
Have a good day. Lee -
I faxed them an order and got it last week.

Last week I got two driveshaft bearing cushions and the service was great. I e-mailed on Sunday to see if they were in stock and how to get them as soon as possible. I got a reply on Monday and ordered them with a return e-mail. I received them on Wednesday. I'd say 4 days is pretty darn good service.

I am getting great service from K-Gap. Have received all of my order with one item still on backorder. You just have to be persistent and call in the afternoon. The daughter has been great to work with, very pleasant and polite.

At last! K-Gap acknowledged today's email and they are sending me my order, though they cannot supply a hydramatic shift indicator. ...the white pointer. Anyone have one I can purchase? It's for a '53 Hornet.
Bill -
Look in the latest WTN under reproduction parts. I believe those pointers are offered for sale by someone. I dont have the mag with me at the moment or I would get you the contact.
