Does anyone know what the strange pedal coming out of the dash does ?

If nobody on here can answer that question, best bet would be to email the seller.
It sort of looks like something you'd push with your foot - but on the other hand it looks like it's close to the edge of the dashboard.
Maybe something to do with a handicapped driver???

It's to release the small bag of roofing nails onto the road . . . thwarts the cops and rival bootleggers.

It looks like its connected to some sort of hydraulic cylinder just below it. I'm thinking either clutch or brakes for the disabled driver.

The seller responded to my inquiry:
"The owner has a prosthesis left leg. He added this to depress the clutch. It can easily be removed."
