34 Hudson Terraplane Coupe Hood Latch
-
I am finishing up my coupe and need the hood latches so I can fit everything prior to painting. Does anyone know where I might buy these or what the length of the latch is. I am not restoring the coupe to original so original equipment is not rquired. Thanks, Walt
P.S. I will try to post some current pictures of the coupe on the Hot Rod Forum this weekend. -

Yes Bob, My coupe is in the progress of being rodded and should go to paint in the next 2 weeks. It has a 350 w/350 tranny. If you go to the Hot Rod section and go to page 2, you can find some pictures under 34 Coupe in progress. I was going to post some updated photos today, but when I went to the shop to take pictures, my camera batteries were dead. I will try to post some updated pictures this week.

I am in the process of finishing a 35 Hudson 8 and have been told that Jeep Wrangler hood latches are a close match to the Hudson hood latches though I never checked it out. There was a 35 Hudson 6 at the Reno National that used them.-Terry

Spent most of my life down in Huntsville, wish I had known there was a Hudson nut so close. I retired a few weeks ago--guess I'll never be back that way again....... Perhaps a national in Nashville might do it?Brownie
