What $20,000 Will Get Ya
-
Finally. A man who knows what he wants ($20,000) for his beater cars.
A 1950 Pacemaker. Runs good (even on a flat tire!):

A 1950 Commodore. "Xlent":

Hey those storage rental fees add up.
-
He must be a fan of the Barret-Jackson auctions.
-
Either one will do 110 - straight down off a cliff!! Or maybe these were the ones that used to race the little old lady from Pasadena.
Hudsonly,

:eek:Is this guy smoking something? or did he fail math because he does not know where to put the decimal point? Arnie in Nevada

Both of these cars (each with $15,000-$18,000 in the glove compartment), would not be worth what the seller is asking...
-
They wouldn't be worth that with $30K in the glove box!
Good, solid $2,500 builders.
Kids, this is what drugs to you. Stay away from them."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
Why is it that all the good Hudsons worth investing in are always on the West Coast?!!
-
Kids, this is what drugs to you.
And Kids, this is what beer does to old farts like us. Stay away from that too -

Beer makes me fart, esp dark beers, except for Guinness which isn't too gassy. -
Mix in about twenty White Castle hambergers and let'r-rip!

I think the quality of this thread has deteriorated somewhat, but it's just a hunch. At least it's not copyright infringement . . . yet.
-
I don't think there's any danger of that, as I understand it is not possible to patten a process.

I am from Chicago, and used to eat those little burgers, like maybe a dozen in a sitting. My Mom hated them, called them "Brillo Pads". I sometimes see them in the freezers at the local stores here in TX, but those don't do justice to the ones fresh off the griddle, "sliders"! Kenneth -
The owner of these two cars has finally come to his senses.
They are re-listed on CL for $18,000 each. -
He's gettin' closer to coming to his senses, but not there yet. Very nice '54 Hornet Hollywood a few posts down, on CL at $14,900. That makes our hero's rigs still at least 10 grand too rich.
