2009 National Pics - over 250 pics
-
Hi all,
I just finished posting my pics of the 2009 National. There are over 250 photos. I tried to put them in a general order, prewar --> stepdown. It's not perfect, but should make it easier if you're looking for a specific decade.
I had a blast, as usual. It was great seeing the beautiful cars and the wonderful people.

If "double clicking" the web link doesn't work, try highlighting the link, copying it (Control + C) and pasting it (Control + V) into your web browser (the box with website addresses at the top of your computer screen). I apologize if you knew all this... some folks don't.Workin Stiff -
In all of the pictures I've seen so far, there are NO '55-'56-'57 cars at all? Were there really none there?"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -

There were 2, maybe 3 there. Paul Schuster had his '57 there and there was a '56 wagon there as well. I thought I saw one other one - but didn't get a photo of it. -

Patrick, sorry you could not make it to the nationals. You would have enjoyed it. There were over 400 cars there at one time or another coming and going. I believe there was a black and also a red and white 56 or 57. I'm not sure on the year. Every time I made the rounds I would see another car that had arrived. I found some parts for my pu at the swap meet. Unfortunately, when I unpacked my suitecase, one was missing. The horn ring that surrounds the horn button was not there. Sparks was my first national and Pontiac was my second and I throughly enjoyed both. I'm looking forward to the national in Spokane, Washington next year. Maybe you can make it to. Hope so. Lee -

Hi Victor,
You may need to be running a Internet Explorer 7 or later or Firefox 3.0 or later. Does the link take you to the website and the page doesn't look right? Or does the link not take you to the website?

I didn't see many 30's pickups in the photos - looked like one 36-37 in the background (from the rear), but no up close pictures of it seen thus far. Only two '39s seen in photos thus far - one sedan, one convertible. No '39 112WB seen in photos thus far. -

Hi Rick,
I have two pics of 30's pickups. Both similar color schemes (blue and black). One was a Hudson, the other a Terraplane. I think both 37's, but not 100% sure.
They are on page 2 in the 2nd row down.

Wow - Yes, thanks! The first one is a '37, and the second is a '36 (the one with the rear fender skirts). Both are Terraplane, which is the only Hudson line that made commercial vehicles. When the Terraplane line was discontinued in 1939, all commercial vehicles fell under the 'Hudson' badge.Hi Rick,

That's great, Ray. And don't put off the work you want to complete, if at all possible. No time like the present to be all ready to roll come next July. Waiting till the last minute is entirely too stressful. Know from experience. -
