Leather Care Product Recommendation

yes, try Lexol. There are some other exotic & very expensive English made leather treatments too.

I have used Leather CPR for my late model car. I was pretty impressed with the results. The other cleaners that I have used tend to make the leather slick and the dirt seems to get worked into the grain.
Their website shows that you can get it at several stores and online---I bought mine at Costco as they were having an in-store demo. -
the most important care for leather is to keep it soft & supple.
When I had my '50 C8 conv. with flawless original interior I had it in L. A. which is quite dry as well as being sometimes quite hot. I'd use Lexol on the seats, kneading it in by hand rather than using a rag, then let it sit a while before I'd buff it off.
I had the car many years & it never showed any sign of wear.
The quality of leather makes a big difference too. I believe Hudson used cow hides whereas I had a '55 Stude. Speedster with leather interior & it was made of horse hide, MUCH stiffer & harder - impossible to make soft & supple! -

I've used Turtle wax's F21 protectant for years. It moisturizes the leather, AND it has a sun screen in it. We've got a 2000 Concorde, and a 2004 Avalanche that the interiors both look like new. I use it liberally on my '76 Glastron boat. Before we put the boat in the water, we coat everything with F21, and tell people that we're applying the boats "SUNBLOCK". -
I've seen it in auto parts stores - have a can I use little of now so haven't looked to see where I could replace it.

Do you get Armor-all products over there? They have a superb leather conditioner cream.If you're stuck in a hole, stop digging.

I've done saddle work for years and the only thing I will use is a product called Black Rock. It goes on, doesn't cause the color to change and will absorb into the leather and not leave a residue.
