curb weight of 49' supersix sedan??

Hi folks!.......I was looking for the curb weight of my 49' supersix sedan.
I found an old post by walt I think but I didn't know if my 49' would be around the same weight. this car had the 262/standard with no o.d. any idea's on what the curb weight was? -

From T he History Of Hudson by Don Butler. The 49 Super Six 4 Door sedan when equipped in standard form was3,555 pound and selling at$2,207. The super eighht weished 3,565 pd. and sold for $2,296/ -
Thanks guys I finally found it also as 3555 dry weight so thats about right for curb weight thanks!

When I had my '48 coupe hauled up from California, the hauler said he had to leave it off the load the first trip because he would have been overweight- I asked him what he figured it weighed, he said "some guy" told him 5,200 #. I gave him a more realistic number, and he got it on the next load.

Car Distribution Department Bulletin # DL-49-2, Shipping Weights '490" Series gives curb weight for Super Six Sedan as 3,730 pounds.
That's a factory issued bulletin - issued on 11-28-1948. Jon has an older book (not his fault) that doesn't have the bulletins I added to the weight sheet section.
