Looking for a NOS or excellent red front grill emblem (the one that illuminates) for a 52 Hornet. I know K-Gap has repro's... would like to check here first. Thanks, Niels

Well, in that case, if you find two . . .you know who to call.

I was planning on going the K-Gap route, as all the ones I've found thus far look no better than the 60-year old examples I already have.

Have you tried Mike yet at Bill & Charlie's? He seems to have boxes and boxes of parts! From what I've seen, he probably has 30 or 40 of them!

Mike has been great. He tried but most of his look their age aswell. He does have a couple OK driver ones. I still have a little time so will look a bit more.

I need one too. I think K-gap is the only option for a non-weathered one.

I have an extra red one that is in great shape. I will try to post a pic tonight and see what you think. It came off a 51. Is there a differerance between 51 and 52.

Good luck with that K-GAP thing. We had and order for a grill emblem for over 8 months and after much complaining and whining we finally received it. Still have open orders on other things that are about to reach their 1st birthday. I know that these people are busy, but.... if they couldn't handle the job they shouldn't have taken it on, they are just making things difficult for the people that are trying to get their cars back on the road and please don't use that old excuse that they are providing a special service and without them there would be no place to buy these parts. That excuse is only good if you actually receive anything that you purchased, otherwise they provide no service at all. We have tried contacting them to no avail, calling, e-mailing we get no response and I know we're not the only ones. The parts we bought have been bought and paid for and it is only common courtesy, when someone asks a question to acknowledge them.

This is the emblem that has a little bit of flaking that needs touch-up but it has good clear plastic.

Both are for sale. PM me and make me an offer.

Somewhere I have at least one NOS red grill badge. I'll look for it and post a photo.

I don't want to step in front of anybody that's asked for one of these grill emblems, but if there's still one unsold when everyone else has theirs, I need one too !!

I've been waiting about a year now for one I ordered and paid for from KGap, but to no avail. Same for the wire wheel hubcaps !! If anyone has some of these, I guess I'd better look for an alternate source for these too.

PM me if you can help. Thanks,
