    Truly Amazing and insprirational!

Here's another audio link from a charity recording she did in 1999 someone found - pretty cool since they only pressed 1000 copies!

Yeah, Dan... I stumbled across this yesterday, too. Truly heartwarming.

Yup, Dan - it is incredible & made our day. I read about this a couple of days ago on Yahoo, and went to YouTube to listen to it. I HAD to show this to my wife when she got home!
We were very impressed, and passed the link around to some folks on our personal email listings.

There are several YouTube postings on this, one of them is up to over 18 million 'hits' (the one you posted is closing-in on 2 million)...

She is something isn't she. I'm no great fan of American Idol, and really can't stand Simon. (I know - this is Britain's Got Talent but it is the counter-part to AI). So that was a revelation. You could just see it on his face when Susan came out that his was thinking "what could this old broad do!!!" And then, when she started singing, she completely blew Simon out the door - and most of the audience too.

They say everybody in this world has a twin somewhere - Susan Boyle looks very much like my ex-wife, but I won't hold that against her.

Here's wishing her all the best and great success - it's nice to see an underdog (if you wish to say that) come out as top cat!!!!

Actually Britain's version of American Idol is called Pop Idol and Britain's Got Talent is the counterpart of America's got Talent. They both started in Europe and were brought over the ocean when they became successful there.

Dan: There are those who will always look at the box and make a decision...those who wait for or take the initiative to look past the wrapping are ALWAYS the winners!

Thanks for the post... it was very refreshing especially the CRY ME A RIVER link.

    Best to you.

Wow... you can praise her in the same post you compare her to the ex.

You're a better man than I am, Alex.

Hey, we parted on amicable terms. She got the house and I got to keep my money, more or less. LOL

She shelled out $1500 for a lawyer - I didn't have a lawyer. I think I made out way better than she did. :D

Another Susan Boyle video has surfaced - tho a little hard to hear over the background noise, the voice is still there.

I find it sad that it took so long for her "voice" to be discovered. It has a very haunting quality to it.

I still find her story truly amazing, with some professinal voice coaching and more performing experience/confidence I think her singing voice will only get stronger.
