Finally, after a couple of years and many tries it looks like I finally was able to resize picture of my car - 51 pacemaker coupe -- and post it to my avatar

All good things come to those who wait, congratulations, well done.
If you own a Hudson, you have plenty of patience.LOL. -
I had trouble finding one nobody else was using!!!!!!!!!!
I was about ready to use a street map of Memphis.

A lot of sites/forums will take your standard picture and automatically reduce it for the avatar. Eventually, the software on this forum will most likely be able to do the same thing.
Until then, most digital picture editing utilities will allow you to crop and reduce pictures to the size needed to make yourself a nice custom avatar. -
Where is the information I would need to post a Avatar on my posts?
Thanks, Gene. -

Thanks, Gene.
- Mid-way down the screen on the left, you should see a black bar (it will be just above the actual forum threads). On that bar you'll see 'User CP'. Click on that;
- On the left, below 'Control Panel', click on 'Edit Avatar';
Toward the bottom is the area where you can upload a personal photo to use as an avatar. Be sure to read the guidelines and specifications for pixels/size -
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
Good luck!
If you have a photo in mind, but do not have the utilities or knowledge to crop or reduce it - send the photo to me & I'll see what I can do about altering it for you. (However, it will be up to you to upload your picture, once I return the adjusted image to you...
).
This offer of assistance goes for anyone reading this, just be a bit patient, ok? -
