Canadian Pontiac's HELP
-
Here it is
Once apon a time I traded a write off I bought for the computer for a 1966 Canadian Pontiac 2-door Sport Coupe (Custom Sport tags) Parisienne on the rear. After 12 years in a field and a afternoon of fluids, tires and power we drove her out of a field.
My oldest son loves it (so do I), it's a complete 12K car, no frills, bucket, concole and a clock that works. The paint pencil on the firewall is just like it has never seen light.
What I know?
This Cdn Pontiac was built on a 1966 US impala frame with all body mounts down an impala. I have fame spec for both 65/66 impala and CDN Pontiac.
The power plant is a 283 Chevy and two speed Powerglide.
I believe
The body (Fire wall too Trunk floor) is a Pontiac Catalina Ventura hardtop coupe.
The question
Floor pans, braces and trunk pans ?
Is there an supplier of Cantalina pans ?
If not would a starting place be impala pan's? -
From my understanding - yes the impala floors are the place to start - the Parisienne uses the exact same frame, mounts and mount locations as the impala. Here is an underside shot of my '65 convertible - it looks the same as a '65 impala convertible (I know - very subjective, but it is something...)
My trunk floor is from a '65 Impala along with the gas tank. It is a little harder to see from the pic

Are your floors beyond repair?
