Weathermaster control knobs

Quick question all.
Do the round knobs on the side vent and bottom cool/heat lever of a Weathermaster unscrew or are they pressed on. I want to change them out.

Lance, Be VERY careful when trying to remove these knobs. They are about as notorious as roof antenna knobs on stepdowns for wanting to stay put once they're on. You might try a rubber strap wrench to get them off but if you are just going to paint the knob I would reccomend leaving it onand masking the surrounding area. If you must change it, be very patient in removing it. They will tear up quickly. Use something that won't leave marks.
