Michigan State Parks 90th Birthday

I just received the following e-mail and wanted to share it with the crew. For those towing vintage trailers behind their Hudson to the National, this could be an additional side trip you might enjoy!
Hi, I am Ranger Eddie Karl. I work at Port Crescent State Park in Port Austin Michigan. Michigan State Parks are celebrating their 90th. birthday this year. We at Port Crescent would like to have a display of antique type campers at our park some time in July of this year. I have been looking on the internet for antique clubs and your site came up. If you are interested please let us know, or if you know of any other clubs or persons with older type campers, please let us know. Thank you, Ranger Eddie K.

I informed them that our National will be held in Flint, MI this year from July 13-17. So in response, they thought that July 19, 2009 would be a good date, following our event. It would give the participants a chance to drive to the Thumb and get set up. They are very excited about this and feel it would make their 90th celebration a really cool event. Please let us know what you think of the date and all.Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet!
