I just got a 1958 2 dr hard top packard with 20k orig miles that was from the orig owner and sat in a garage for 40 years with signed document from daughter! It has the last inspection sticker on it still from 1969 and I have the orig bill of sale and the car has not one rust spot on it and orig paint and possibly orig tires. Not sure if the tires were replaced once or not with the exact same ones as the spare is identical but worn. Car has a v8 (not sure what engine) and a 4 barrel carb. Options are p/s, p/b, auto, window washer, twin traction differential (posi), undercoat, white wall tires, heat and defrost, radio, rear seat speaker, wheel discs! I am looking for info on this car as I can't find one 1958 car anywhere aside from a wagon on ebay. I am curious about engine size and approx. value of one of these? Here are amny pics. Thanks

Great find. I would imagine that you are planning to buff it and clean the interior chrome. I look forward to seeing the completed work.

Best of luck with the car. It's good to see that some people come across the great finds.

This is a good website to ask questions on, but you should also be exploring an all-Packard website such as http://www.packardclub.org/ in search of your answers.
