engine bolt up
-
Anyone ever have any issues bolting up a 1937 Packard 6cyl to an engine stand?
-
No, none whatsoever. I'd caution someone asking about a Packard straight eight, as all "1500lb" rated engine stands are NOT the same. The cheapie AC Delco ones that Oreilly's sells won't handle a straight eight, but a six should be no problem. Rule of thumb when working on a heavy engine, if the engine stand looks like it'll handle a big diesel V8, then you're probably ok.
