For you Superstitious types
-
I'm not really superstitious, but I couldn't help but notice on my HET calendar (aren't they great?) that this Friday the 13th is the anniversary of the national debut of the Hudson Jet.
So I looked back at the 1953 calendar, and you guessed it, the Jet was introduced on Friday the 13th. I wonder what would've happened if they'd just waited until Monday! -
Makes them much more interesting.

53' Super Jet
and a bunch of Crosley's -
My wife and I share the same birth date: 13, She in November and I August. We are not supersitious... our common birth date must cancel that out.
-
Rumor has it that if you look at a Hudson Jet on Friday the 13th, you'll turn into a Yugo.
-
How about a CROSLEY!! LOL
Barry -
Back in the 60's I was stationed at the Coast Guard Air Station at Barbers Point on Oahu.
One of the HU-16 amphibian planes we had there had the designation number 1313. So one Friday the 13th we loaded 13 crewmen aboard, just about everybody had 13 letters in their names, we took off at 1313 hours (1:13 in the afternoon) and flew for 13 minutes, landing safely.
So much for superstition.
