I have a new old stock water jacket for '47 and older Hudson sixes for sale on e-bay. If anyone is interested, I think it's at $15. right now. I'm not sure how far back this one fits. But I think the mid thirties or so. If yours is questionable now might be a good time to replace it, before the Nationals.:) Here's the "e-bay" link below.

Now, if you want a stainless steel one of these, the Railton Club in the UK offers them -

    http://www.railton.org/index.htm

    Look under "Spares" -

    - 110 British Pounds for the 'Water Jacket', plus shipping
    - 36+ British Pounds for a year's club membership (required to purchase)

Will probably polish up real nice...

How much is that in US dollars? Also, does anyone have a picture of a stainless one? Or of the stainless water outlets they sell, like for 29's?

I have just a had a few 6 cyl jackets made out of stainless for Hudson owners here in Aust. They cost $160 each. Imagine a 4mm thick large rectangular plate with laser cut holes for the water flow and for the stud holes. I then had a stainless "box" welded onto it with a piece of stainless exhaust pipe for the water outlet. A very professional good looking end result. Im now working on something similar for the st 8s. Anyone wanting one might like to conside doing the same. Regards, Barry.

Sorry, didn't mean to 'rain on your parade'. :o

I don't think this will affect your auction, as the price of these s/s pieces are in a whole different price range...

As indicated, right around $151.00, plus shipping AND club membership - which will bring the price well over $200.00. If anyone here in the states is already a 'member' and is willing to place the order (?) for them it would save the the person the membership dues just to get the part...

Then again, BarrySweet52 may have one or two available...

In thinking about it, I may need at least a couple of these - one known that needs replacing, and having one 'on the shelf' wouldn't be a bad idea... However, I am not interested in the S/S ones unless I can't get OEM NOS ones anywhere else...

Hello Bent M., didn't Buzz S. from the San Deigo area have some made and did some improvements on them?

come to Pontiac & I'll sell you an NOS 8 for $150 - use the same stuff they use in gas tanks on it & it'll last forever, won't need stainless. (Don't remember if I have any NOS splasher 6 ones or not, know I have some used ones).

just "show me da' money" = no taxes, no shipping, can "eyeball" the product before you buy it, LOL!

Have several from the mid-30's too.
