what is this/what does it do?
-
While disassembling my Hornet I saw the remnants of some sort of paper and felt seal (I guess) that was held by three large screws with large washers. Pictures attached. There was not enough of it left to tell how large it was or what its purpose was. Does anyone have a picture of this in its original size and location. What did it do? Seal the radiator core support to direct more air to the radiator?

Chris, thats exactly what it did. New ones are obtainable from K-Gap . It acts as an air dam.
