Trim retainer needed

I have been searching for the stainless trim retainer for the piece just above the rear window. I am talking about the one for the ~4 ft long piece that goes between the s-shaped rear pillar molding. I have the trim, but KGAP told me they don't make the retainer. I also sent a sample about a year ago to Dellis Hudson and heard no response. Anyone had any better luck?

that one should be an easy find
the retainer is rarely deteriorated much and is the easiest trim piece to remove and reinstall on a Hudson.

I actually have found that to be one of the more tougher trim prieces to get off the 54 hudsons due heavy rust from the retainers sitting horizontal

On a 54 it is more difficult since the trim piece itself is narrower and fits tighter in general.

    I guess it's only true for 52-53
