Replacement Rubber Floor Mat
-
The front floor mat in my '49 Commodore is pretty much in pieces. Is there a source for a replacement? Or what have others done to their cars to have an original type replacement?
-
The K-Gap "Hudson" original type replacement mat, only fits the narrower (1947 and earlier) Hudsons. I am not aware of the wider Step-Down ones being repro'd. K-Gap does make a small "Hudson" rubber insert, which can be sewed into a carpet.
There ARE people making carpets. I think Kanter's does that.
