getting rebuilt carb
-
I don't know if this the place to ask, but as I will need to get a rebuilt carburetor for my Pacemaker before summer, I would like to know if anyone has a recommendation of a good, reliable source for rebuilds. I'd be most appreciative of any help.

Walt Mordenti (in the Hudson club) does an outstanding job. Also, a number of Hudson owners have had their carbs rebuilt by Daytona Parts in Florida http://www.daytonaparts.com/ . These two will do more than just replace a few internal parts and seals, and you will get a really professional, original job done.
However, if you are handy and want to save money, you can probably buy a kit and do it yourself. Dave Kostansek may still sell the kits, and I'm sure there are others who do as well. -
Jon,
Thank you very much for the information. I now feel I can confidently get a good job done.
