State v. Ralph Williams Northwest Chrysler Plymouth was the first big case under the Washington version of the Consumer Protection Act, and is still cited often in present consumer protection cases. Poor Ralph lost the dealership over it, of course, and a Japanese gentlemen named Tak Ishii started up a dealership on the same property. He turned out to be just as big a crook as Ralph was, and got run out of town as well! Guess that spot in north Seattle was just jinxed. . .
