I got my toddlers Hudson running
-
Little Ricky owns the old Selma City Hall police cruiser. He's so excited and it's fun to watch him go nuts. He proudly tells my customers when they come by "it's not for sale" and "it's an over-drive car with a split-window".
The car used to have an old cherry on top when it used to be seen by passing motorists traveling north out of San Antonio but fell off when the previous owner forgot to tell his father he unbolted it for a person who wanted to buy the light and didn't return at a swap-meet.
Arriving in Dallas after the meet the cherry was gone:(. I'm doing a completed stainless package for a 56 Belair 2drHt in exchange for the upholstery work being done at this time. It would be fun to horse-trade as much as possible for what Ricky's car needs, that said, does anyone have or know of an old police light and/or sirens that I might trade some stainless work for? -
Email John Dorgan, "the siren man". It will likely be a Federal beacon 6 volt model you'll be needing. Good luck.

Opps, forgot to add www.sirenman.com. He's in Tuscon ,Ariz.

Thanx Hudzilla, I'll check and see what he's got

Wow Rick. Does that bring back memories. Always looked for that Hudson going to and from San Antonio from Austin. And it also reminded us to watch our speed, because those dudes in Selma were buggers working their radar guns. And Boy did they make money!! 1 cop for Northbound and one for Southbound. If they had somebody stopped, then you could lay on the accelerator, until you passed through the juristiction.
Great to meet you in Shiner. -
here's one for $3500 that comes with the rest of the car. Very tired looking.
