OT: The day the music died

50 years ago tomorrow. I wonder what music would be today had Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper still been around.
Chantilly lace and a perty face . . . makes the world go 'round! -
I'm thinking probably not a lot different than today. While they were stars in their time, there were plenty of others who were more influential- Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee, Elvis, Beatles, Stones, etc.-
