1969 Pontiac differential

Hey: I have a 69 Grand Prix and it has the silly option on an 'economy rear end' which means 2.7-1 approx and no posi. I want to swap in a 4.11-1 posi. Any idea's on what other cars would make a good donation for me. It is an 8.2 pontiac but can I replace it with a Chev unit or anything newer that I would find in a local scrap yard. Anyone know of 'rear end' bone yard? Any information would be appreciated. take care, Walter
