In Line 6 ID
-
have an inline 6 engine that was removed from a 69 camaro. The car is gone and I don't have the vin number. The numbers on the engine don't show up in any of my Chilton's manuals.
It was bolted up to a PG which i believe was original to the car.
The number stamped on the rf pad is" FO629(either a 7, 1 or T. illegible)AB"
Casting number on rt side of block is "3921968" below that, is "GM" below that is "75". On the left side of the block the numbers" 77 1968 "are cast in.
on the right rear side, cast in ,is "Con2" and " F250".
The engine code "TAB" or just "AB" does not show up anywhere. Wuzup?
Thanks, dave
