Made your own headers or intakes?
-
I want to make my own 4 bbl intake and headers for a 215 Ford, same as the 223.
I don't want to spend the money on Clifford stuff.
Has anybody made their own? Is there an outlet for flanges or just trace some gaskets and cut your own?
Any ideas or pictures.
Thanks

FYI
If your handy you can make your own 4 bbl set-up but its real time consuming. The Intake has 4 bbl adapters available to weld but I dont know about header flanges but you could easily cut your own if you had a Plasma Cutter. Some where recently I seen a pre fab- header Kit with various elbows bends etc, either Whitney or Summit. Suggest looking On Line. -
Yep I've been looking and did find a set of headers for $160 but they're for a truck, I think it was a 3-3 split, it is a kit so it might work
223 truck headers at Summit.

I've never seen any adaptor except to change from 1 bbl to 2 bbl then 2bbl up to 4 bbl, that's a major bottleneck and defeats what I want to do. The headers I can make with a little trial and error. The intake is going to be a pain I think
Thanks
