What's life without a Hudson? -
Apparently, they made four of them, but stainless is so tough to work with that the dies were toast after the fourth one.
Boy, would I ever like to see a stainless '53 Hornet Convertible. That'd be something to see.

Back in 1967 when I worked for a Lincoln Mercury dealership, the Stainless Lincoln came in with a rep. A very cool car for sure but wouldn't it blind you in the bright sun?

And, there are quite a few DeLoreans still around... (but it only has a stainless steel body).
Just as an fyi, they actually had three of these cars plated with 24 Karat gold!
And, one of them is currently for sale in Maryland - anybody got a spare $250,000.00? -
One of those Stainless Steel Ford cars is here in Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Center. This is a link to a video about the car:

I'm quite sure the Tbird was a 58-60 square bird, not a '55. I believe SIA had a writeup on them years ago. -
