I just had to share this. We got pics back from the photographer yesterday. This is #2 (and last) son, Hudson J. Chilton. Hard to believe this little guy belongs to me. My wife, I can see that. Me? Whew. Melts my heart.

Yep, we're Hudson-crazy. We sold this so that I could focus on Hudsons:

And if I remember correctly - hadn't you just completed that one?

BTW - great looking kid! Which car has his name on it :D

    Dan-

Yep, 5 year build and had just finished it. I think I'll leave it up to the boys and first, make sure they are gonna be car guys. If they are, I'll probably leave it up to them to choose. I'm hoping I can do another convertible after this one so that they both could have one. Might as well dream for the best scenario, you know?:D

I acquired a 1953 Nash Ambassador (I know...sorry it was not a Hudson - but the next car was a Hudson) when my son was about a year old. As he learned to talk, he began pointing to the Nash and calling it his "Pretty Nash". Once when he was about 2 1/2 years old, his mother and I could not locate him - in those circumstances we always panicked, because he was quite "active" and could get in a lot of trouble in a very short time!! Anyway, I finally located him by spotting two little legs sticking out from under the Nash in the garage. He had two wrenches from my tool box, one in each hand (the wrenches were longer than his forearms). He said that he was fixing his "Pretty Nash". Needless to say, when he got older, I gave him the Nash.

Hope I didn't bore too many people here on the forum with this story, but looking at that handsome lad of yours, Russell, along with the previous post about whether your two boys will be "car guys"... well, it just brought back a warm memory of a long time ago...
