Bob also sent me a text page outlining all the pahases of this resto, but its in a format I haven't tried work with yet on hudsoncollector, so will get that up as soon as I figure out how to reformat it to post.

Is the use of carpet on the bottom of the doors original?

No, they used Durafab vinyl for the bottom of the door panels for '48-49.

Thanks, I thought it should have been vinyl. Still, if that's carpet I see, it looks good.

Another excellent resto - request permission to post a couple of the pictures on my web site under "Hudson Owners Cars - 1946-1957.

Bob is a member of our Chapter, so I have seen this car in person at a couple of our functions and yes, it is drop dead gorgeous! I have also seen some photos of the convertible that is being restored and it will also be fantastic
