Cool story. I love those kind of stories.
Thanks for posting...

Here's another one, found in the U.S.
This was an episode of "Chasing Classic Cars"...

Note: The one in this video is a 1938
For those of you who missed the episode, it will be on cable again, Discovery HD - "Bugatti Barn Find" -

I saw that episode this week. Until the recent post here on Classiccar.com, I forgot that the "Star" of Chasing Classic Cars (Wayne Carini) is a Hudson Italia owner.

Saw that episode as well. Enjoyed it.
I got two of those '37 Bugatti's in my garage . . . don't care about mine, either.
-
Was going to buy a Bugatti Type 57 but then thought anyone can have one of these. Bought a Stepdown instead, now thats a classic.www.hudsonmotorcar.org

Guess I'd better get Max to clean up my old Isotta Fraschini.

My grandpa was gonna give me one of them Isotta's (or was it a DE-sota? They're only a couple of letters apart, ya know)- but I told him I couldn't face my friends with one of them Eye-talian cars that nobody could pronounce.
-
Personally, I like a car with a name that sounds like an Italian entree.

When I hear the name Bugattii - this is always the first picture that comes to mind...
-
Personally if I was going to own an Italian car I'd rather have a mastacholli GT.

With sausage, meat balls or neck bones? -
Neck bones? Is that that type of chicken with the big headdress?
