Kem fuel pump

Sorting through a few bits and pieces and came across a NOS vacuum/fuel pump made by Kem in Fairlawn NJ. The part number is 4250 and its stated as being for Hudson 6, 55/56, Hornet and Wasp.
I'm assuming it should also fit the stepdown 6 as well. Any thoughts? -
If you use it, it would likely fail due to the formulation of today's gasoline.
