My Flathead Is Knocking
-
I Have A 41 Ford Coupe All Stock And Recently It Started A Really Bad Knock But Not When It Is Idling. Am I Losing A Bearing?
-
This knock could be anything from a rod bearing to a wristpin to whatever. If its knocking that badly, pull it down for inspection before it self destructs. Cheapest money you will spend at this point.
New or even good used flathead blocks are becoming hard to find and expensive.

Look at valve springs for a broken one.
