Just finished watching "Pinks--Outtakes"--had a quick, but interesting interview with the owner of the 1949 Hudson race car. Showed the car in action a couple of times. I believe the owner's name was "Blaylock" (Spelling?) but pretty sure its the same car that has been mentioned on this Forum a couple of times. Car his a LARGE Mopar wedge and is FAST!!----FYI

Saw this also, over Thanksgiving weekend, on SpeedChannel. It is a VERY fast car, got to the final 16, and lost by only 3/1000s of a second or so...

I just happened to catch it a few weeks back - I saw this Hudson amongst all the other cars and the word "dinosaur" came to mind.

But, one hell of a fast dinosaur. Driver held his own and did the marque proud.

Lord would I like to be able to build one of my "Mopar" 1938 Dodge coupes. Did pretty good down Maine with the one's I had back in the 50's at the local drags. Mid- to -high 10's.
