Shock Absorbers
-
Can anyone help with part numbers for shock absorbers to suit a 1934 Terraplane, both front and rear.
Thanks Les.P. -
If the shocks are the lever type which I think they are, there are no new shocks available. However they probability can be rebuilt.
-
These are the normal type of shock absorber, not lever type.

Well, I cannot find any listing for a Hudson or Terraplane shock absorber any earlier then 1936. However, if you have the old shocks you can measure them and use Monroe's Mounting and Length Sheets to find your shocks.

Thanks Mars55, I have a couple of Monroe Numbers I found,
Rear 12-0060
Front 12-o249
So think I'll give these to the guy who needs them and let him check them out for himself.
Thanks for your help. The attachment I'll keep for further reference. -
Hey Mars,
Since you have the listings there, could you post numbers for front and rear of 36 Terraplane model 61? And maybe NAPA cross refs if you have them!
Thanks AGAIN,
T Jeff -

Try as might a I could not find a listing for the rear. The front shock for a '35 - '36 Hudsons or Terraplanes is:
Monroe 5801 Sensa-Trac 32066 standard
Gabriel 82076
KYB 343136
Delco 520-324
Hagen's Hiway Auto Parts lists shocks for '35 - '57 Hudsons or Terraplanes.

Monroe recommend these people.

As ALWAYS, thanks Mars! And thanks for the time in researching.
