dart swinger
-
i have a 1973 dart swinger and i was wondering why it has no heat. i replaced the thermostat thinking that might be it but it still doesnt blow hot or even warm and it doesnt have much for air mass that its pushing out either. any idea what it could be?

Are the heater hoses in the engine compartment getting hot at the inlet to the heater?
Have you checked the heater control valve?
Does the blower have all the speeds?

Feel the heater hose going to the cowl when the car has warmed up and the heater turned on. It should be pretty waarm to hot. If the return line is cool, you have a blocked heater core. If both lines are warm/hot and you still are not getting heat inside the car, then the heater itself is not working. Check for blocked vents and such."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
