I remember seeing some talk about different parts tumblers and can't remember how far back that was. Who has one? What are the best. Who makes a good reasonably priced model?

Thank You, that gives me some options. I've started working on my 29 Dodge Bros pick up and the bolts and nuts are in pretty bad shape. I would like to be able to save most of them if I can.

:)Hi Harry, It is great that you are rebuilding your '29 Dodge Bros. truck. Double check all the fastners as they are 80 years old and some of them may not be as strong as they once were. I have had some old bolts just break when I tried to loosen them, some just bent. Hope you find a parts tumbler and good luck on your project. Arnie M.

Arnie, thanks. Anything that is pretty rusty and small will be replaced. The larger bolts should clean up but if there is a lot of corrosion I'll replace them also. I need to flush the cooling system as there is a lot of rust all through the system. I need to find a soak I can put in the engine so I can flush all the rust out.

I responded to the original post, I have been a target shooter for years and we polish and reload our empty brass. A good place on line is www.midwayusa.com a few are on sale this month. The one Eastwood has is made by one of these companys for less than half their price. Chuck G

Has anyone tried the bluish triagle media? They didn't have the green today. I'll give it a try on something I'm not worried about losing.
