Batmobile what is this worth?
-
Can anyone give me an idea what this car is worth. It is totally unique, the only one of its kind. It is a 1973 Opel, one seater with enough electronics in it to power NASA. Just curious what its worth and where to advertise.

that is a car like the one i have posted, it is worth what someone will pay. you will never get a true number until you try to sell it in an auction like barrett-jackson.
-
I would like to see more pics, as I may know the prior owner who built this car. Might help steer you in the right direction.
-
The problem with "customs" like that is that they are only worth something to a very, very few people, usually the builder and/or the current owner.
Hope you sell it, but in the current car market, the market for your Opel is about as close to zero as it gets. Finding a buyer for that will be extremely difficult. Ebay it, run it in Hemmings and other publications, and there are plenty of online resources.
You did ask."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
If you have a bit of time, the Hemmings.com route is the best bang for the buck. This is the largest old-car marketplace on the planet and is circulated to hundreds of thousands of old-car enthusiasts around the world in paper format, and on the internet.
