sixspeed

I have put a t56 six speed in a 57 chevrolet truck and would like to know if there is a way to move the shifter forward
-
probably not, i have a 57 chevy and i know that there is not much room. it was buit for a straight six and a weak trans. the only way you can move the shifter is to be very creative and become an engineer. your best bet would be build some linkage under the seat, to come up and around the seat. if that is even possible, it seems like there is some body structure there. i just put a turbo 400 so mine was easy.
