New Guy intro

Hi to all,
My name is Scott and I live in Western Washington. I am rebuilding a 1964 Ford F-250. It has a 292 w/ a 4 speed tranny and is good shape, just tired. This is my first rebuild in 40 yrs and am having a ton of fun. My 14 yr old son is helping me and we are going to start his first car when the truck is on the road. He does not yet know what he wants, one day this the next day that. He learns fast and does all the grunt work, I am not going to tell him its grunt work and will keep it quite as long as I can.
If any one has or knows where I can buy a set of Ram Horn exhaust manifolds for my 292 please let me know. John Mummert is making them again, $400 a set, looking for a deal.
Enjoy your ride, running of not,
Scott

Welcome to the group
It's good to see others doing projects and bonding with their family at the same time. We need more uoung people interested in these cars and not just tuners.
Best of luck with the project. Post some pictures and keep us posted on the progress.
