For Sale: '54 Super Wasp 38k miles
-
1954 Hudson Super Wasp 4 door sedan. The car has 38,000 original miles. The car is all original incuding the paint and upholstery. I'm the second owner. This car has been garaged all its life. The lady who bought it new had problems backing out of her garage. So it does have some nicks and paint chips on the doors. The nice thing about this car is you can enjoy it the way it is. Or you can repaint it and have a wonderful looking car. The engine is the 262 with the 3-speed transmission and overdrive. It has new tires, fan belt, and radiator hoses. Everything works, but the radio and clock. I also have the original bill of sale from the Hudson dealer. If you want a car that you can enjoy without all the work, here it is. The car is located in Denver, CO. If you would like a second opinion, I could take it to John Soneff for his thoughts.$17,000. Please contact me at HETbill.spelic@demco-products.com (drop the HET)54-1_122271241548165.JPG700 x 525 - 77K54-3_122271381748165.JPG700 x 525 - 79K54-6_122270626348165.JPG700 x 525 - 71K54-14_122269987448165.JPG700 x 525 - 65K54-9_122272316848165.JPG700 x 525 - 87K

TTT for ya
looks like a great car for the price! wish I could buy it.... -
A time capsule by anyone's standards !!
Nice --- but I've got too many already. ( I did buy one from John Soneff though ). That garage of his is a time capsule too -- if you're ever there, ask him to take you down to the underground level -- I think that place was built 100 years ago !! ( bricks ). But I've strayed off the topic ---- awesome car !!
Wish there were more like that to choose from out there.

The pictures of the Wasp show the presevation, but do not do the car justice in terms of the fact it is as good an original Hudson Stepdown you will find. The present owner convinced the previous owner to sell the car after I made a trip several years ago to view with the intention of purchasing. The owner backed out of the pending sale then... VERY NICE car. Originality with a twist ... just a buy and drive. -
so is the car not for sale ?

The Super Wasp is for sale. Like Wild Wasp says "The pictures don't do it justice!!" It's a wonderful car and sometimes I think it should really be in a Museum! Bill
PS: Thanks Wild Wasp for the kind words! -
402 Bowtie...
Just noticed your avator. Is that a 52/3 Hudson Convertible on your trailer? If so it looks very much like the one that was for sale on eBay a while back? What is the story... or am I prying?
Cheers
