Is It Worth Saving???
-
I went to the local junk yard today to look around for a few thing I decided to take some picture. I found this car and truck cab that I think would be worth saving. Let me know what you think.
Thanks Brian
The car (Any idea what year and make it is?):

The truck (Just a cool truck!):
-
Both are pretty well beat up but I firmly believe that with time and dedication it will prove to be worth the effort.
-
Car appears to be a GM coupe body and the truck appears to be a late fourties early fifties Dodge job rated cab. Oddball at that since it's a stretch version. VERY rare.
-
Found this one here in MN. don't recall what it was but this pic may help indentify it.

Found another pic on the com.uter.
-
I can't tell what it is, but I've never seen one exactly like it. Looks like the rust is pretty bad in spots. If it's fairly complete though, it could be pretty cool restored. Good luck finding parts for it though, but not impossible I'd guess.

The bottom two pics are of a GMC, not Dodge. The top one is on a one-ton to two-ton chassis and appears to be a Dodge. These are on the large GMC 600 models. Post these on www.stovebolt.com, and there are guys there that can tell you more than you want to know about these two trucks!"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
OK, from my friends at the stovebolt forum, the bottom truck is actually a Diamond REO, NOT a GMC."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
