Daltrey in Hollywood
-
I want to know the lucky SOB that had Roger in his Hollywood! I stole this from a forum on The Who's website.

Actually if I remember correctly, this was taken from a movie set that was shot in northern Georgia. Don't know the name of the movie but I do know that Howard Scruggs had his Hornet on site and they took several laps around the track with Roger doing some of the driving. Howard told me Roger was a really nice guy and they all had a great time. I think the Hollywood belongs to a member of the Dixie chapter who were in attendence during the filming. This likely was taken during a break in the filming.

Too cool. Any idea of the year this was taken? I'll try and google the movie also.
Thanks,

Tim, Other than to say it was in the last 10 years I couldn't be certain.

That red clay sure do look like Georgia - or a nearby state such as Alabama or Mississippi.
That stuff was murder to drive on - dry you were driving in a dust storm; wet it was like trying to roller skate on an ice rink.
Either way it didn't take long before you couldn't see where you were going.
But it sure was fun!!!!
