1934 Hudson Hot Rod.
-
This photo was taken way back about the mid 60's of a 1934 Terraplane Hot Rod. Hot Rods were BIG in those days in Australia. The owner used to come into our Service Station to buy his petrol 3/3 pg (3 shillings and three pence) a GALLON. Oil was 2/- (2 shillings ) a pint.

Very Cool!

I'd love to go around and find/buy period hot-rods that haven't been touched in 30-40 years!
Notice that motorcycle fenders used on the front and rear in the pic?

Each year at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week, on Saturday all those old racers from the 50's and 60's join up on the salt in their old racers. There were a lot of 30's Fords, Chev's and such. Always fun to see...Brownie
